MBH Corporation plc grows faster than the majority of companies listed on the European small cap markets in 2019

London, June 22, 2020 - MBH Corporation plc (MBH), a diversified private investment holding, is one of the top three fastest-growing small cap companies compared to all companies listed on European small cap stock exchanges in 2019.

As part of an analysis of the small cap IPO market, MBH has compared its financial performance with 67 companies that were listed in 2019 on a stock exchange segment for small caps in Europe. The segments considered were Frankfurt Scale, London Stock Exchange AIM, Euronext Access and Growth (Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Paris) and Borsa Italiana AIM-MAC. The focus of the analysis was on a comparison of the development of revenue and earnings in the financial year 2019 compared with the previous year. MBH also investigated which of these companies are paying a dividend to their shareholders for the financial year 2019. All companies that report in English or whose financial figures are published on international stock portals were included.

Callum Laing, CEO of MBH Corporation plc:
"We are very proud of the incredible growth and of the fact that we were able to pay our first dividend within such a short time after our stock exchange listing. The analysis carried out clearly shows that we are among the fastest-growing stocks on the European small cap markets in terms of both revenue and earnings. Our Agglomeration strategy in our investments is proving successful and we are very pleased that we were able to let our shareholders participate directly in this success."

MBH is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe

The average revenue growth for the 67 small cap IPO's considered was +43% (median: +19%). The three strongest growing companies in the 2019 financial year were Innovative RFK S.p.A. with sales growth of around 900%, Media Maker S.p.A. with around 155% plus and Iervolino Entertainment S.p.A. with a sales increase of 131%.

With sales growth of 306% in the 2019 financial year, the first full financial year as a listed company, MBH Corporation plc thus grew significantly faster than comparable European small caps and is one of the fastest-growing companies in its peer group.

Innovative-RFK S.p.A. is an Italian private equity company specialising in equity investments in innovative small and medium-sized companies active in the digital marketing and medical equipment sectors.

The Italian company Media-Maker S.p.A. specialises in the development and production of multimedia and audiovisual content. The activity is organised in four sectors: Development of editorial and branded content for third parties, acquisition and sale of advertising space from third parties, creation of video productions: Clips, ads, documentaries and films and development of digital projects.

Iervolino Entertainment S.p.A. is a global production company based in Italy. It is active in the production of film and television content, including films, television shows and web series. The company produces both Made in Italy and international cinema for the international market.

MBH's earnings growth clearly exceeds the average of the peer group

The net profit of the European small cap listings only increased by 10% on average (median). 34% of the newly listed small caps posted a loss in fiscal year 2019. With earnings growth of 190% in the 2019 financial year, MBH Corporation plc is also well above the average for comparable European small caps and is one of the companies with the highest earnings growth in this peer group.

Only five of the total of 67 companies pay a dividend for the 2019 financial year. With a dividend payment for 2019, MBH also stands out positively from the peer group.
