Berlin, 29 October 2019 - home24 SE ("home24", the "Company") announces changes in the Management Board. Marc Appelhoff extends his contract by three years until the end of 2022 and will be appointed Chairman of the Management Board (CEO) with effect from 1 January 2020. Johannes Schaback, who had already extended his contract in March, Marc Appelhoff and Brigitte Wittekind will continue to form the three-member leadership team of home24 in the future.
The Supervisory Board sees the Management Board well positioned to drive home24's development forward, thanks Christoph Cordes and looks forward to working with Brigitte Wittekind. Based on her experience and many years of working for home24, we are convinced of a seamless transition after the resignation of Christoph Cordes".
Christoph Cordes looks back on many years of experience in the online furniture business: "After exciting but also demanding ten years and a challenging year 2018, home24 will be well positioned in its operating business by the end of 2019.
