Lehrte, October 25, 2018 - HELMA Eigenheimbau AG is pleased to announce that its property development subsidiary HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH has decided to expand its high-margin business area of individual detached houses including land plots. Accordingly, land plot areas in the metropolitan region of Frankfurt as well as in the regions of Cologne/Dusseldorf/Bonn and Würzburg are also to be purchased in the future.

Through HELMA Eigenheimbau AG, the HELMA Group has already been active for many years in the building services business in the new target regions. In expanding its business, HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH can thereby make recourse to its extensive knowledge in the area of developing, planning and selling individual detached houses in these regions.

HELMA Wohnungsbau GmbH, founded in 1984, operates as a broadly diversified property developer in the regions of Hamburg/Hanover, Berlin/Potsdam, Leipzig and Munich. Its product range comprises individual detached houses, as well as preplanned semi-detached houses, terraced houses and owner-occupier apartments in multi-family houses. In the business area of individual detached houses including land plots, the company enjoys many years of experience as well as an extensive and successful track record especially in the conurbation areas of Hanover, Berlin/Potsdam and Leipzig.

With the expansion of the property development business, the HELMA Group is expanding its product range in the new target regions to include comprehensive packages comprising attractive building sites and maximum individuality in house planning. The HELMA Group is thereby giving itself the opportunity of also especially benefiting in the new target regions from the current market environment, which is characterised by high influx rates and a very limited supply of building sites suitable for private individuals. Initial land plot purchases in the new target regions are anticipated to be realised during the course of 2019.
