Christian Schepke is promoted to VP Professional

Gigaset, market leader in DECT cordless telephones and an international company in the field of communication technology, is announcing a new executive manager of the Professional segment. With Christian Schepke, a man from the own ranks of Gigaset becomes the new Vice President Professional. Schepke has been with Gigaset for almost two years. Previously as Head of Product House Business & Solution Management he was responsible for the interoperability of Gigaset products in the B2B area.

Before Schepke joined Gigaset, he worked at Swyx Solutions GmbH as a partner product manager. There he managed and revised the Swyx Technology Alliance program and was in close contact with partners from the hardware and software area.

During his professional career, Schepke also worked for Nokia GmbH & Microsoft Mobile GmbH for a long time. Among other things he managed a go-to-market program for the Ovi Store Launch in Germany and negotiated and accompanied a variety of partner app projects as a manager for developers and partners.

Christian Schepke succeeds Norbert Cremer, who previously held the position of VP Professional, but left Gigaset at his own request in May 2020.

Christian Schepke's goal at Gigaset is to expand the Professional segment further into the newly established enterprise area. While Gigaset was previously primarily aimed at small and medium-sized companies (SMEs), Schepke is now targeting the enterprise market, equipped with optimal communication technology and a diverse range of solutions from desk and cordless phones to single and multi-cells.

"We have just expanded our DECT IP single and multi-cell systems N670 IP PRO and N870 IP PRO with a software update. If required, dynamically growing companies can upgrade the N670 IP PRO to a multi-cell and thus significantly increase the range and performance of the system. This is an optimal solution for large companies and we not only want to maintain this course, we want to constantly expand it, "explains Schepke.

Christian Schepke, born in 1973 in Münsterland, studied electrical engineering at the University of Dortmund and spent one year at the Institut Supérieur d'Électronique du Nord in Lille, France, where he subsequently did an internship at Decathlon. There he designed, programmed and launched an Internet consumer forum in 1997.
