AMSilk Exhibits Functional Silk Cosmetic Materials at in-cosmetics Global 2018

Planegg, March 21, 2018 - AMSilk GmbH, the world's first industrial supplier of synthetic silk biopolymers, is proud to announce it will be exhibiting its advanced vegan silk cosmetic ingredients for the third year in a row at in-cosmetics Global, the world's global launch place for innovation in self-care ingredients and technologies.

AMSilk will be displaying its Silkgel (hydrogel) and Silkbeads ingredient lines, both of which are naturally vegan, sustainable and easily integrated into personal care products. Innovative cosmetic products which feature silk biopolymers have valuable and unique properties: the silk biopolymers act like a breathable second skin by offering protection against harmful environmental factors and bacteria, and have natural fixative effects that keep cosmetic ingredients on the skin for longer time periods, prolonging and enhancing their efficacy. The hypoallergenic and biocompatible AMSilk biopolymers are well-tolerated by the skin and were awarded the ranking "excellent" by the renowned Dermatest research institute.
