* SoftM achieved sales of DM 25.1 million (+ 34 percent) in Q1
The SoftM Group was able to achieve a sales increase of 34 percent to DM 25.1
million (previous year DM 18.8 million) in First Quarter 2001 – a result of
internal growth. As expected, the operating result (EBITDA) was DM +1.1 million
(previous year DM +1.8 million) and the income from common activities (EBT) DM
-0.8 million (last year DM +0.3 million). The operating cash flow came to DM
+1.9 million (previous year DM -1.3 million).
The successful launch of the new business software generation SoftM Suite as
well as a general increase in demand for ERP solutions have resulted in an
increase in standard software orders of approx. 35 percent to DM 3.1 million
(previous year DM 2.3 million). Due to increased number of orders, consulting
sales in the first quarter have already increased significantly (+24 percent) to
DM 11.3 million (previous year DM 9.1 million). In the business unit standard
software SoftM Group achieved sales of DM 3.1 million (previous year DM 3.9
million). The effect of the increased number of orders will first be felt in the
upcoming quarters. SoftM Group sales in the hardware business unit was DM 10.7
million (last year DM 5.8 million).
SoftM expects Group sales in the year 2001 to reach DM 95 million (previous year
DM 88.9 million) and an EBT of +0.5 million DM (previous year -2.3 million DM).
