CHANGES TO RUUKKI GROUP'S BOARD                                                 

Ruukki Group Plc ('Ruukki' or the 'Company') (LSE: RKKI, OMX: RUG1V) announces  
the resignation of Terence McConnachie as a non-executive director, effective   
immediately, in order to pursue other business interests.                       

Commenting on the resignation, Jelena Manojlovic, Chairman, said 'On behalf of  
the Ruukki Board, I'd like to thank Terence for his significant contribution to 
the Company over the past couple of years, in particular his experience and     
knowledge of the mining and minerals processing industry as we expanded the     
Group's activities into that sector. We wish him well in his future business    
endeavours.'
