On 14 August 2012 Columbia Wanger Asset Management LLC, Chicago, USA has
notified us pursuant to sec 21 para. 1 WpHG that on 9 August 2012 its
voting rights in Wirecard AG, Aschheim/Munich, Germany decreased below the
threshold of 3% and amounted to 2.99% (3,359,085 voting rights). Columbia
Wanger Asset Management LLC has notified us that these voting rights of
2.99% (3,359,085 voting rights) are attributable to Columbia Wanger Asset
Management LLC according to sec 22, para 1, sentence 1, number 6 WpHG.
