Jersey, Channel Islands has informed us pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) of the following:

The percentage of the voting rights of BR Jersey International Holdings,
L.P. in RWE AG has fallen below the threshold of 3% on 30 April 2012 and
amounts to 2.88% (16,569,129 voting shares) on that day. All voting rights
are attributable to BR Jersey International Holdings, L.P. pursuant to sec.

RWE AG has fallen below the threshold of 3% on 30 April 2012 and amounts to
2.88% (16,597,123 voting shares) on that day. All voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock Advisors Holdings, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22 para.
1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
