Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

Credit Suisse Group AG, Zürich, Switzerland, and Credit Suisse AG, Zürich,
Switzerland, notified us pursuant to section 25a para. 1 WpHG of the
following:

1) On 9 July 2012, Credit Suisse Group AG fell below the threshold of 5% of
the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Credit Suisse Group AG held
3.43% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 4,745,522 voting
rights).

From these voting rights a proportion of 3.39% (equals 4,691,563 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG.

In addition, a proportion of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting
rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of
0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.

In addition, a proportion of 0.04% (equals 53,959 voting rights) is based
on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the
voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG a
proportion of 0.04% (equals 53,959 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain
of controlled undertakings: Credit Suisse AG, Credit Suisse Investments
(UK), Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), Credit Suisse Securities
(Europe) Limited).

The (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG are
described as follows:

  - Equity Swap, cash settlement (expiration date: 23 November 2012)

  - Equity Swap, cash settlement (expiration date: 2 May 2013)

  - Equity Swap, cash settlement (expiration date: 30 October 2013)

  - Equity Swap, cash settlement (expiration date: 28 November 2013)

2) On 9 July 2012, Credit Suisse AG fell below the threshold of 5% of the
voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt
a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date Credit Suisse AG held 3.43% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 4,745,522 voting rights).

From these voting rights a proportion of 3.39% (4,691,563 voting rights) is
based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG.

In addition, a proportion of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting
rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of
0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.

In addition, a proportion of 0.04% (equals 53,959 voting rights) is based
on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the
voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG a
proportion of 0.04% (equals 53,959 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain
of controlled undertakings: Credit Suisse Investments (UK), Credit Suisse
Investment Holdings (UK), Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited).

described as follows:

  - Equity Swap, cash settlement (expiration date: 23 November 2012)
