On 2 May 2012, BlackRock, Inc. fell below the threshold of 3% of the voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, BlackRock, Inc. held 2.30% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 3,176,727 voting rights.
These voting rights are attributed to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

In addition, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware, USA, notified
us pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 2 May 2012, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. fell below the threshold of 3% of
the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt
a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. held 2.30% of
the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 3,174,394 voting rights.
These voting rights are attributed to BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. pursuant to
sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

In addition, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York, USA, notified
us pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 2 May 2012, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. fell below the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, BlackRock Financial
Management, Inc., held 2.30% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 3,174,394 voting rights.
These voting rights are attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc.
