On May 11, 2012, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ), Stockholm, Sweden
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its Voting Rights on LANXESS AG, Leverkusen, Germany, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on May 09, 2012 and on that day
amounted to 4.47% (this corresponds to 3718229 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 4.47% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 3718229 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company  via SEB AG, Germany and  SEB Life (Ireland)
Assurance Company Ltd, Ireland.
