The Ministry of Finance (in the name and on behalf of the state of Norway),
Oslo, Norway has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG
that via shares its Voting Rights on LANXESS AG, Leverkusen, Germany, have
fallen below the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on May 07, 2012 and on
that day amounted to 1.74% (this corresponds to 1448916 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 1.74% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1448916 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
