Correction of a Publication on July 10, 2012 according to section 26 para.
1 of the WpHG [the German Securities Trading Act]

With letter dated July 5, 2012, Hermes Administration Services Limited, as
the authorised administration agent on behalf of BT Pension Scheme Trustees
Limited, London, England has notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1
WpHG about the following notifications regarding the holding of voting
rights held in KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG, Cologne, Germany (the
'Company'):

 4. On July 3, 2012 the voting rights of Hermes Fund Managers Limited,
    Lloyds Chambers, London, England ('HFM') in the Company exceeded the
    threshold of 5% and 10% pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG and amounted
    to 11.98% of the voting rights (5,956,951 shares with voting rights),
    at this day.

  - 2.36% of the voting rights (1,171,748 shares with voting rights) in the
    Company are attributable to HFM pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no.
    2 WpHG in connection with Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG and Sec. 22
    para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in connection with Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 2
    WpHG, and

  - 9.63% of the voting rights (4,785,203 shares with voting rights) in the
    Company are attributable to HFM pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 2 WpHG.

Voting rights of the following shareholders, whose voting interest in the
Company amounts to 3% each or more, are attributed to HFM:
  - STERLING STRATEGIC VALUE LIMITED
