We received with letter of August 20, 2010 the following notice in
accordance with section 21, para. 1 of the Wertpaphierhandelsgesetz from
Baillie Gifford & Co, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK:

We hereby give notice, pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 of the WpHG, that on 18
August 2010 the voting interest of Baillie Gifford & Co in GRENKELEASING AG
moved below the threshold of 3 percent threshold and on this date amounted
to 2.99% (this corresponds to 409,154 voting rights).

0.51% of these voting rights (this corresponds to 69,986 voting rights) are
attributed to Baillie Gifford & Co in accordance with sec. 22 para. 1 sent.
1 no. 6 of the WpHG.

2.48% of these voting rights (this corresponds to 339,168 voting rights)
are attributed to Baillie Gifford & Co in accordance with sec. 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 6 and sent. 2 of the WpHG (via Baillie Gifford Overseas
Limited).
