On October 15, 2012, Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij NV,
with registered office at Louizalaan 32, 1050 Brussels, Belgium, has
informed us according to the applicable requirements of the Luxembourg
Transparency Law that on October 11, 2012, the voting rights held in
European CleanTech I SE, 40, Avenue Monterey - L-2163 Luxembourg, Grand
Duchy of Luxembourg, have exceeded the 5% threshold of the voting rights in
European CleanTech I SE and amount on that day to 6.58% (3,369,127 voting
rights, corresponding to 3,369,127 class A shares (ISIN LU0538936351) as
well as 44,000 voting rights, corresponding to 44,000 class B shares).

Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij NV is holding the voting
rights in European CleanTech I SE directly.

The percentages of voting rights stated in this notification are based on a
total number of 51,882,102 voting rights as of October 11, 2012 (after an
increase through a capital increase).
