On October 11, 2012, Dr. Helmut Vorndran, Rottendorf, Germany, has informed
us according to the applicable requirements of the Luxembourg Transparency
Law that on October 11, 2012, the voting rights held in European CleanTech
I SE, 40, Avenue Monterey - L-2163 Luxembourg, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg,
have fallen below the 5% threshold of the voting rights in European
CleanTech I SE and amount on that day to 3.67% (864,825 voting rights,
corresponding to 864,825 class A shares (ISIN LU0538936351) as well as
1,037,891 voting rights, corresponding to 1,037,891 class B shares). Under
the applicable provisions of the Luxembourg Transparency Law, of these
voting rights, (i) 1.67% (864,825 voting rights, corresponding to 864,825
class A shares) are attributable to Dr. Vorndran through Altizz
Vermögensverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG, where he is managing director of the
general partner, and (ii) 2.00% (1,037,891 voting rights, corresponding to
1,037,891 class B shares) through European CleanTech I Holding S.à r.l., in
which he holds a 61.5% interest through his wholly owned company Vorndran
Beteiligungs-GmbH.

The percentages of voting rights stated in this notification are based on a
total number of 51,882,102 voting rights as of October 11, 2012 (after an
increase through a capital increase).
