Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt am Main, Germany, notified us on May 24, 2012
pursuant to Sections 21 (1), 24 of the Wertpapierhandelsgesetz [WpHG -
German Securities Trading Act] of the following:

''We hereby notify you pursuant to Sections 21 (1), 24 of the WpHG that our
subsidiary DB Valoren S.à r.l., Luxembourg, Luxembourg, on 21 May 2012
exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% of the voting
rights in Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn, Germany, and on that date held
39.725% (86,917,432 voting rights). These voting rights are attributable to
DB Valoren S.à r.l. pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1, number 1 of the
WpHG via its (direct) subsidiary DB Equity S.à r.l., Luxembourg,
Luxembourg.

In addition to this, we notify you pursuant to Sections 21 (1), 24 of the
WpHG that also our subsidiary DB Equity S.à r.l., Luxembourg, Luxembourg,
on 21 May 2012 exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and
30% of the voting rights in Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn, Germany, and on
that date held 39.725% (86,917,432 voting rights).

Further, we notify you pursuant to Sections 21 (1), 24 of the WpHG that our
subsidiary Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A., Luxembourg, Luxembourg, on 21 May
2012 fell below the thresholds of 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 5% and 3% of the
voting rights in Deutsche Postbank AG, Bonn, Germany, and on that date held
0% (0 voting rights).''
