Frankfurt, 22 October 2012. Vtion Wireless Technology AG, one of the
leading suppliers of wireless data solutions for mobile computing in China,
announces the appointment of Professor Shu Huaying (67) to its six-member
Supervisory Board.

Professor Shu Huaying was appointed as a new member of Vtion's Supervisory
Board by the local court in Frankfurt on the Main, Germany. He is a
professor at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. He is
also the director of the University's Service and Management Technology
Institute. Outside of his roles at the Beijing University, Professor Shu
Huaying belongs to the committee of the Ministry of Industry and IT, along
with other Telecommunication and Economic Experts. He is further involved
in the committee of Industrial Engineering at the Institute of Electronics
and of the China Institute of Communications. In addition, Professor Shu
Huaying is Director of the Chinese Society for Optimization, Overall
Planning and Economic Mathematics.

'I am proud to have known Professor Shu Huaying for a long time and I am
confident he will be an excellent addition to our Supervisory Board,'
states Vtion CEO Chen Guoping. 'Our nomination committee has done an
excellent job in seeking and evaluating new candidates. Their top priority
was to add someone to the Board capable of aiding in Vtion's strategic and
business development, and they have been successful with Professor Shu
Huaying.'

Vtion's Supervisory Board
Vtion's Supervisory Board now consists of six members. Original members are
Chairman Norbert Quinkert, Vice Chairman Yang Hua, Wang Ning, Liu Yangsheng
and Volker Potthoff. Professor Shu Huaying will replace Qian Yingyi, who
resigned from the Board on 16 July 2012. The nomination committee will now
be disbanded, given that it has finished its intended purpose. The Strategy
Committee, consisting of Committee Chairman Volker Potthoff, Yang Hua and
Norbert Quinkert, will continue to work in close cooperation with the
Management Board in order to assist the company in formulating a
comprehensive long-term strategy. The term of all six Vtion Supervisory
Board members, including Professor Shu Huaying, will run until the
company's annual general meeting, taking place in June 2013.

Upcoming Events
Vtion will present at the German Equity Capital Markets Forum on Monday,
November 12 at 1.30 p.m. in Room London. The company will also release its
full Q3 Interim Report on Wednesday, November 28.
