Tecnotree announces the delivery of convergent conferencing service to Vodacom

Espoo, Finland -Telecom IT solutions provider Tecnotree today announced the
delivery of a conference calling platform to South Africa's largest mobile
operator, Vodacom. The service, called Vodacom Conference Call Advanced,
provides consumers and businesses alike with a tool to set up multi-party
conference calls by simply dialling a dedicated number or sending a short code
text message. 

The service is quick and easy to set up, and participants only pay per call.
The Vodacom Conference Call Advanced service is currently available to all
mobile, fixed line and VoIP subscribers in South Africa. 

According to the recently published Operator Trends 2012 research by
MobileSQUARED, 40 per cent of surveyed operators already offer convergent
triple play or quad-play bundles. An additional two per cent of operators seek
to offer dedicated fixed and mobile telephony bundles without actually owning a
fixed network themselves.
