Tantalus Rare Earths AG appoints new CEO
(Düsseldorf, Germany, 2010/03/25)

Tantalus Rare Earths AG, a German holding company with its mineral
exploration assets for rare earths in Northern Madagascar, announces today
that its board of directors named Mr. Stephen Forman to serve as the
company's new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Forman has spent the past 16 years working in investment banking,
specifically in roles in international equities for JPMorgan and UBS both
in Australia and the United States, where he served as executive director. 
He holds a bachelors degree in Commerce with Honors in accounting and
finance from the University of Western Australia and is a CFA charter
holder.

The board of directors unanimously selected Mr. Forman based on his
extensive background in the financial community and his excellent contacts
to investors worldwide.

'I am very honored by the opportunity to join Tantalus Rare Earths AG as
the new CEO. The company owns an excellent rare earth project in Madagascar
and I look forward to strengthening the company's profile and position in
the international capital market,' says Stephen Forman.

Mr. Forman will take up his new duties on April 9th, 2010.
