SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG Receives New TIMARIS Order

Kahl am Main, July 12, 2012 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) reports an additional order for a TIMARIS vacuum coating machine for the development and pilot production of MRAM wafers. At the beginning of 2012 several TIMARIS coating systems with different configurations and with an overall volume exceeding EUR 13 million were already booked as orders. Together with the new order, five machines in total comprise the order backlog and thus undoubtedly confirm the favorable business trend in the Semiconductor segment.

SINGULUS further develops the plant and process technology for the nano-coating of MRAM wafers and thin-film read/write heads as well as for semiconductor applications in order to expand the market and technologic advantage and to maintain the leading position in the soon expected industrial production of MRAM memory. Besides one other manufacturer SINGULUS is currently the only provider of vacuum coating machines for the production of MRAM wafers.
