Schaltbau GmbH says goodbye to Hans Kudlacek as Managing Director

Munich, 2 January 2012 - After more than 15 years' service to the Schaltbau Group and almost 12 of those years at Schaltbau GmbH of Munich, the company's long-serving Managing Director Hans Kudlacek (63) resigned from his post for age reasons at the end of the year.

Hans Kudlacek joined the Schaltbau Group in 1996, working in leading positions in Marketing, Sales and Development. He moved to Schaltbau GmbH in the year 2000, initially as Head of Sales and Development. He was appointed Managing Director of the company with effect from 30 January 2002 and became spokesman of the board of directors in May 2004.

With his tremendous personal commitment, Hans Kudlacek made a substantial contribution to successfully expanding the company and played a key role in establishing Schaltbau GmbH's various foreign subsidiaries. The Executive Board of Schaltbau Holding AG has formally expressed its gratitude for Hans Kudlacek's outstanding commitment and his accomplishments. With his long years of experience he will continue to serve both the company and the Group in an advisory capacity in the future.

As managing directors of Schaltbau GmbH, Dirk Konrad and Klaus Jacobs will continue to conduct the company's business affairs.
