GIEAG Pressemitteilung / Corporate News:

Results of the General Meeting

  • GIEAG shareholders agree on first-time dividends
  • Change of company name to GIEAG Immobilien AG

Munich, 8 May 2012: On 7 May 2012 the general meeting of GIEAG Gewerbe Immobilien Entwicklungs AG (GIEAG), which recently floated on the entry standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB), approved all of its agenda items by majority decision.

Out of the total capital of 4.2 million shares, more than 3.9 million shares or just less than 93 percent of the share capital was represented.
In particular, the proposal to distribute a dividend of 4 cents per share, 168,000 euros in total, from the company's net profit for the financial year 2010 in the amount of 2,055,015.76 euros, and to carry the remainder forward was supported by all of the shareholders present. The dividend payment to shareholders is to be made by the custodian bank on the day following the general meeting.
The change in company name was also adopted almost unanimously. Following its entry in the commercial register, the company will be renamed 'GIEAG Immobilien AG'.
Christoph Klotz, Chairman of GIEAG, is pleased with the first general meeting since the stock exchange listing in January 2010 and announced a healthy net profit based on the provisional, unaudited figures for the financial year 2011, both for the individual financial statements as well as for the first-time consolidated financial statements. The publication of the detailed figures for 2011 is planned for June 2012. At the same time, Klotz reaffirmed the company's intention to use the capital market in the medium term for further planned growth by issuing new shares and/or by issuing a corporate bond.
