DEAG: David Garrett acquires 3 per cent in the shares of DEAG 

Berlin, 02 August 2010. The star violinist and long-term affiliate of DEAG,
David Garrett, informed DEAG on 30 July 2010, that he has acquired a total
of 371,670 shares in DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6).
The stake represents 3.00% of the outstanding share capital and voting
rights.

DEAG welcomes this commitment as a strong sign of confidence from this
internationally known top artist. DEAG has already started a close and
trustful collaboration with David Garrett in 2007.

Prof. Peter L.H. Schwenkow, DEAG's CEO: 'We are very happy that David
Garrett shows his satisfaction with our collaboration through this equity
participation. Of course, as an artist he is able to assess very well
DEAG's current market position and the resulting opportunities.'
