Change of NKT Cables Group CEO

NKT Cables Group CEO Dion Metzemaekers has decided to resign from his position
to take up new responsibilities outside NKT. Dion Metzemaekers will effectively
leave the company as per 4 March 2011. 

An external successor will resume the position as CEO no later than 1 June
2011. The new CEO has extensive international experience from top level
positions. Further details will be published as soon as possible. 

Dion Metzemaekers has been with NKT Cables for 11 years, hereof the last 9
years as Group CEO. In that period of time NKT Cables Group has enjoyed an
impressive growth and development. We are highly appreciative of the company
achievements obtained by Dion Metzemaekers as well as his colleagues under his
tenure. 

In order to realize a smooth transition, Thomas Hofman-Bang will temporarily
step in as acting CEO working with Detlev Waimann (CCO), Asger
Bruun-Christensen (COO) and Paul Langelaan (CFO) to continue the direction that
the company developed over the past years. This transition will keep NKT Cables
in the forefront of the attractive growth prospects that the sales teams have
identified and for which the factories have been prepared with the recent
investments.
