BKN International AG Opens A Spanish Office in Barcelona

Cologne, 6th. January 2006
BKN International AG, a top global animation company engaged in the 
distribution and marketing of animated children's television programmes
and 
related consumer products, announced today that it has opened a subsidiary
in 
Barcelona named BKN  Kids New Media SL to handle its activities in Spain, 
Portugal, Italy, France and Latin America.

Laura Tapias has been named Managing Director of BKN Kids New Media SL.
Tapias
joined BKN New Media Ltd UK in 2004 as VP Sales & Marketing for Spanish, 
Portuguese and Italian speaking territories. Tapias has over ten years of 
international sales and marketing experience in the entertainment
industry. 
Prior to joining BKN, Tapias served with leading Spanish TV producers and 
distributors.

important in the
children's space and we have now made this commitment to better service
our 
customers in this region.  Laura will do a great job for BKN.", said
