Cologne, 21 July 2003 - BKN International AG ("BKN" or the
"Company"), the
children's German Company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, announced
today that it has been advised by the Gordon Group Holdings LLC that as of
July
8, 2003 it has acquired 817,300 shares of the Company and thereby crossed
the 5%
 ownership threshold. This represents 8.8% of the Companys total share
capital.
