Cologne, 21 September 2006, BKN International AG, a global animation
company engaged in the production and distribution of animated children’s
television programs and related consumer products, today reports that its
wholly owned UK subsidiary BKN Home Entertainment Ltd, has announced that
its all-new CGI 3-D animated movie A Christmas Carol  is set to make its US
theatrical debut on Saturday 4 November 2006.   U.S. G-rated movie
distributor Kidtoon Films will be screening the feature at over 100 U.S.
theatres nationwide from Saturday 4 November 2006 through to Sunday 26
November 2006 during week-end matinees.

The Kidtoon Films program is a movie matinee event designed for kids and
families with cartoon shorts, music videos and sing-alongs before the
movie, and fun giveaways such as stickers, temporary tattoos, activity
books or toys after the movie.

“The Kidtoon Films’ matinees allow families and kids to enjoy the big
screen theatre experience in a unique family-friendly environment,”

In addition, Genius Products, LLC, BKN’s exclusive home entertainment
distributor in the USA, is set to release the animated movie on DVD on 21
November.  This must-have holiday classic features unique packaging that
“snows” when shaken, and also includes two bonus Christmas song videos for
children to sing-along to.

A Christmas Carol - It is Christmas Eve in a village near London and
everyone is excitedly getting ready for the seasonal festivities, everyone
that is except for the miserly old skinflint, Ebenezer Scrooge. He hates
everyone, especially children and believes Christmas to be “humbug”.  But
this Christmas he is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, The Ghost of
Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Future. They scare him into
mending his ways, and Scrooge finds the true meaning of Christmas, as he
celebrates with Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim and their family.

This all-animal version of the much-loved classic by Charles Dickens, is
retold in stunning CGI animation and is destined to become a family
favourite for years to come.
