Siemens Aktiengesellschaft ('Company') renders a guarantee for the
following bond with warrant units which are expected to be issued on
February 16, 2012:

1. USD 1.5 bn 1.05 % bonds with warrants attached due August 16, 2017 
(ISIN DE000A1G0WA1, WKN A1G0WA)

2. USD 1.5 bn 1.65 % bonds with warrants attached due August 16, 2019 
(ISIN DE000A1G0WC7, WKN A1G0WC)

The issuer of the bonds is Siemens Financieringsmaatschappij N.V., The
Hague, Netherlands. The bonds will be issued together with warrants with
equal maturity issued by the Company (ISIN DE000A1G0WE3, WKN A1G0WE and
ISIN DE000A1G0WF0, WKN A1G0WF) with the option to acquire shares in the
Company.

The warrant bonds have been offered exclusively to institutional investors
outside the United States of America with a minimum denomination of USD
250,000. The pre-emptive rights of the shareholders of the Company to
subscribe for warrant bonds have been excluded.
