  - RATIONAL launches new product generation

Landsberg, September 12, 2011.  RATIONAL AG with immediate effect replaces
its current main product, the SelfCooking Center(R), with the new
SelfCooking Center(R) whitefficiency(R). New functionalities and enhanced
performance characteristics result in an enlarged range of applications and
improved performance. Due to this, the company achieves a quantum leap
regarding cooking perfection, increases customer benefit and as a
consequence further increases the attractiveness of its products and
services in the market. The company still confirms its outlook regarding
sales and profits given in the last annual report.
