Kfar-Saba, Israel, 29 May 2012 − Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. (ISIN
IL0010838071; Symbol: OHT), a leading developer, marketer and distributor
of state-of-the-art, 3D real-time graphic, video servers, and MAM solutions
for the broadcasting markets, considerably increased revenues and income in
the first quarter of financial year 2012. Revenues rose by 12 percent in
the first three months of 2012, from 8.0 million US dollars in Q1/11 to 9.0
million US dollars in Q1/12. Gross profit in the same period increased by
13 percent, from 5.5 million US dollar in the first quarter of 2011 to 6.2
million US dollars in Q1/2012. At 69.2 percent, the gross margin improved
further in the reporting period, a sign of Orad's strong competitive
position. In the first quarter of 2011, it had still been 68.5 percent.
Operating income rose by as much as 51 percent year-on-year, from 458,000
US dollars to 691,000 US dollars, in the first three months of 2012. Net
profit increased by 32 percent to 840,000 US dollars in Q1/2012 compared to
638,000 US dollars in the same quarter of the previous year.

Orad's cash and cash equivalents amounted to 9.2 million US dollars at the
end of March 2012, even after distributing a dividend of 2 million US
dollars in the first quarter.

Orad continued investing in product development in the first quarter of
2012. The Company launched a new VJ production server aimed at increasing
the Company's penetration of the server market, which already accounts for
around 10 percent of Orad's revenues.

Orad also launched a new video box production solution, TD Control, for
news, sports and talk shows in the reporting period. TD Control
significantly simplifies video box production. During the NAB in spring
2012, a major event in the TV industry, Orad received the prestigious TV
technology 2012 STAR Award for this new TD Control video box production
solution.

The Company continues to evaluate the option of a listing on Tel Aviv stock
exchange.
