Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd.: Record revenues in the second quarter of 2012 

  - Revenues increase by 17.1 per cent to 10.2 million US dollars in the
    second quarter of 2012

Kfar-Saba, Israel, 16 August 2012 − Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. (ISIN
IL0010838071; symbol: OHT), a world-leading provider of real-time 3D
broadcast graphic, video server, and media asset management solutions for
the broadcasting markets, generated record revenues of 10.2 million US
dollars in the second quarter of financial year 2012. This corresponds to a
17.1 per cent rise year-on-year. Gross profit increased by 15 per cent to 7
million US dollars compared to 6.1 million US dollars in the previous year.
In the same period, operating income went up by 14.3 per cent, from 804
thousand US dollars in the previous year's period to 919 thousand US
dollars. Net profit amounted to 638 thousand US dollars compared to 859
thousand US dollars in the second quarter of 2011.

In the first half of 2012, total revenues came to 19.1 million US dollars,
exceeding the previous year's figure of 16.7 million US dollars by 14.5 per
cent. Gross profit increased by 13.9 per cent to 13.2 million US dollars
compared to 11.6 million US dollars in the first six months of 2011.
Operating income went up by 27.7 per cent, from 1.3 million US dollars in
the first half of 2011 to 1.6 million US dollars. Net profit of 1.5 million
US dollars was on par with the previous year's figure. Total cash and cash
equivalents amounted to 9.6 million US dollar at the end of June 2012.

Orad continued to increasingly focus its investments on research and
development as well as sales and marketing in the first half of 2012.
