Nurminen Logistics Plc has decided to publish preliminary information of its
January-March 2012 result because the result in the review period is higher
than expected. 

Key figures 1 January - 31 March 2012

  -- Net sales increased 1.7 percent to EUR 18.0 million
     (1-3/2011: EUR 17.7 million).
  -- Operating profit increased 267 percent to EUR 1.0 million
     (1-3/2011): EUR -0.6 million).

Nurminen Logistics' year has started better than expected and the company has
improved its net sales and operating profit. This was mostly due to the
increased profitability of railway logistics and more efficient operation of
wagons. Company's railway logistics sales in Russia and other CIS countries
have developed better than planned.  The company has also been able to increase
its net sales in transit logistics from Baltic countries and Finland to Russia. 

Nurminen Logistics updates its year 2012 outlook.

The net sales of the company are expected to increase in 2012 compared to 2011.
The company's operating result is expected to be better than in 2011.

The net sales of the company are expected to increase in 2012 compared to 2011.
The company's operating result is expected to be clearly better than in 2011. 

Nurminen Logistics will publish the first quarter interim report on 4 May 2012.
