IKB extends deadline for purchase programme for IKB Funding Trust I and IKB
Funding Trust II

[Düsseldorf, 19 September 2012] The IKB Group (IKB) is extending the
acceptance period for the invitation to holders of the listed issues IKB
Funding Trust I, ISIN DE0008592759, and IKB Funding Trust II, ISIN
XS0194701487, to submit offers for sale until 2 October 2012. This is
subject to change.

The level of approval of the proposed contractual amendments to IKB Funding
Trust I that was necessary for acceptance of the offer - an approval rate
of not less than 66 2/3% of the investors - was not reached by 19 September
2012.

For further details of the purchase programme, IKB refers readers to the
ad-hoc release from 17 August 2012 and the information provided at
www.ikb.de.

It is intended that the securities will be acquired by Matrona GmbH, a
company of the IKB Group.
