Mr. Achim Carstanjen, who as a member of Graphit Kropfmühl AG's Board of
Directors so far was responsible for the graphite segment, was released
from this position with today's resolution of the Supervisory Board.

The above-mentioned field of responsibility now is covered by the Chairman
of the Board of Directors,  Martin Ebeling.
