Comarch Software und Beratung AG (formerly SoftM Software und Beratung AG,
ISIN DE0007249104) achieved revenues totaling around 6.1 million euro in
the
first three months of 2012 (previous year: 7.5 million).

In the first quarter of 2012, the standard software business unit -
incorporating licensing and services fees - posted sales totaling 3.6
million euros (previous year: 3.6 million). The sales of own licenses in
the
first three months of 2012 remained at the same level as in first quarter
of
2011.

The consulting business unit - services and consulting linked to the
implementation and support of standard software - achieved sales revenues
totaling 2.1 million euros in the first three months of 2012 (previous
year:
2.8 million). The decline results from a smaller amount of new orders for
those services and from the smaller number of employees.

Sales revenues for the system integration business unit - hardware and
services for IT infrastructure - amounted to 0.4 million euros (previous
year: 1.1 million). The significant drop of sales in this business unit is
a
result of the company's strategic decision undertaken in this quarter to
withdraw from this business area. The reason of this decision was the very
low profitability of this business unit. In the next periods, this segment
will have limited impact on the company's development.

In the first three months of 2012, Comarch Software und Beratung AG, a
subsidiary of the Krakow-based international IT group, Comarch S.A.,
continued a positive trend which began in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Thanks
to measures undertaken in the second half of 2011, the company
significantly
reduced its costs level, which positively influenced the first quarter
results. Group sales totaled 6.1 million euros (previous year: 7.5 million)
in the first three months. This is broken down as follows: standard
software: EUR 3.6 million (previous year: 3.6); consulting: EUR 2.1 million
(previous year:2.8); system integration: EUR 0.4 million (previous year:
1.1). EBITDA for the first three months amounted to 0.3 million euros
(previous year: -1.0 million) while EBIT was -0.2 million euros (previous
year: -1.7 million).
