Hamburg, 16 January 2008 – At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of
Norddeutsche Affinerie AG (NA) appointed Executive Board member Dr Bernd
Drouven as the company’s Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. 
Dr Drouven had already coordinated the work of the Executive Board since 9
November 2007 and represented the Executive Board externally.
