Lutz and Stahlmann appointed to the Executive Board

Dr.-Ing. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen (54) was appointed as the company's new
Executive Board Spokesman today by the Supervisory Board of MAN SE,
effective as of January 1, 2010. The Supervisory Board of MAN SE
recommended that Dr. Pachta-Reyhofen also take over the reins of
subsidiary MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG as Executive Board Spokesman and the
Executive Board member responsible for employee relations.

The Supervisory Board also appointed Klaus Stahlmann (48), with
effect from January 1, 2010, and Frank H. Lutz (40), with immediate
effect, to the Executive Board of MAN SE as deputy members, with Lutz
assuming responsibility for finance.

The Supervisory Board of MAN SE was also of the opinion that Klaus
Stahlmann, CEO of the subsidiary MAN Turbo AG, should succeed Dr.
Pachta-Reyhofen as the new Executive Board Spokesman and the Executive
Board member responsible for employee relations at MAN Diesel SE. MAN
Diesel SE and MAN Turbo AG will merge at the start of 2010 to become
MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, which is then to be led by Klaus Stahlmann as
Executive Board Spokesman. Stahlmann will represent the subgroup MAN
Diesel & Turbo SE in this function on the MAN SE Executive Board.
