BKN International AG announces 'Kong II' film project & major new contract

BKN International AG, the Frankfurt and London listed global animation
company
engaged in the distribution and marketing of animated children's television
programmes and related consumer products, announces that it has commenced
development on a sequel to its franchise King Kong animated property
entitled
Kong II- Return to the Jungle as well as secured a deal with UTV Software
Communications Ltd ("UTV"), a listed company in India to produce
in state of
the art 3D or CGI (Computer Graphic Images).

BKN, based on its successful Kong- King of Atlantis film, has commissioned
the
production of a new 80-minute animated film.  The script, authored by
animation veteran Richard Ungar and seasoned writer Sean Derek, will be
ready
in time for MIPCOM in October and production is scheduled to start in
November
2005. The film will be produced in high quality 3D in part by UTV in
Mumbai,
India, with much of the creative work performed and managed by BKN from
London.

Allen Bohbot, CEO of BKN commented: "This will represent BKN's first
entry
into 3D technology. We are pleased to have executed a multi-year, multi-
production contract with one of India's largest and most prolific 3D
studios
valued in total at approximately US$ 10.0 million assuming full exercise of
option unilateral to BKN.  Kong will be the first of several projects
produced
under this agreement."

Ronnie Screwala, CEO for UTV, added: "We are very excited to be in
business
with BKN and to work on such a high profile property. This contract also
gives
Humanga, our highly successful kids TV network, access to high quality BKN
properties such as Roswell Conspiracies and Starla and the Jewel Riders
and we
hope to expand our discussions further over time with BKN."
