BKN International AG (DE 529070) announces update on fiscal 2003 business
plan

Cologne, 29 July 2003 - BKN International AG ("BKN" or the
"Company"), the
children's German Company listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, announced
today that it forecasts significant improvements, both in terms of
revenues and
profits, for the second half of fiscal 2003 versus the corresponding
period last
 year.

The Company has recently improved its balance sheet and liquidity, and
signed
new license contracts for its properties, leading to having enough
resources to
maintain current operations for at least one year.

All resolutions presented at the Annual General Meeting on 23 July were
passed
by the shareholders.
