(1) On October 29, 2012, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc., Wilmington, DE, U.S.A.,
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its
percentage holding of the voting rights in Siemens Aktiengesellschaft,
Berlin and Munich, Germany, ISIN: DE0007236101, WKN: 723610, exceeded the
5% threshold of the voting rights on September 1st, 2011 and on that day
amounted to 5.02% (this corresponds to 45,863,109 voting rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 2 of the WpHG, 5.02% of the voting rights
(this corresponds to 45,863,109 voting rights) are to be attributed to the
company.

(2) On October 29, 2012, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., New York,
NY, U.S.A., has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG
that its percentage holding of the voting rights in Siemens
Aktiengesellschaft, Berlin and Munich, Germany, ISIN: DE0007236101, WKN:
723610, exceeded the 5% threshold of the voting rights on September 1st,
2011 and on that day amounted to 5.02% (this corresponds to 45,863,109
voting rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 2 of the WpHG, 5.02% of the voting rights
(this corresponds to 45,863,109 voting rights) are to be attributed to the
company.
