Explanation for publication:

In connection with the Business Combination between European CleanTech I SE
('ECT') and Electrawinds NV (as described in the Proxy Statement issued by
ECT, dated May 2, 2012), Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij
NV contributed on October 11, 2012 shares in Electrawinds NV to ECT and
received 3,105,127 A Shares in ECT in consideration of such contribution.
In addition, on October 11, 2012, Federale Participatie- en
Investeringsmaatschappij acquired 264,000 A Shares from Registered
Shareholders at a price of EUR 10.01 per A Share and received an additional
22,000 B2 Shares and 22,000 B3 Shares in the framework of such acquisition
(see also Supplement No. 4, dated September 25, 2012, to the Proxy
Statement dated May 2, 2012).
