– Institutional investor in the specialized fund CHORUS Renewables Europe I is increasing its contribution – An additional EUR 50 million are available for investing Neubiberg/Munich, April 20, 2017 – CHORUS Clean Energy AG (“CHORUS”), a company specialized in investing and operating solar and wind power plants, which is based in Neubiberg near Munich, can invest an additional EUR 50 million including debt capital via its Luxembourg-based SICAV specialized fund. A credit institute in Germany, which had already invested in the CHORUS Infrastructure Fund S.A. SICAV-SIF Renewables Europe I sub-fund (“CHORUS Renewables Europe I”), is now substantially increasing its commitment. This increase in funds will be used to further expand the portfolio of renewable energy plants in European countries. Currently, the renewable energy fund is already invested in several wind parks located in Germany and Finland with a total capacity of more than 70 MW. “We are very pleased that an established investor wants to increase its commitment to one of our specialized funds once again. This is a clear expression of its satisfaction with our performance and trust in our abilities. With this fresh capital, we will expand our portfolio of high-yield, connected plants in established solar and wind park markets. Our investment strategy aligns with the investment goals of our long-term oriented customers – generating stable, reliable and high returns,” says Karsten Mieth, Management Board member at CHORUS Clean Energy AG. Over the course of the year, the successful series of Luxembourg specialized funds will be continued with a SICAV-RAIF fund – further enhancing the comprehensive investment opportunities provided for institutional investors. About CHORUS Since the end of 2016, Capital Stage AG (headquartered in Hamburg and listed on the SDAX) has held more than 95 percent of the shares in the company. Together, the Capital Stage Group operates solar power plants and wind parks in Germany, France, Finland, the UK, Italy, Austria and Sweden with a total capacity of more than 1.2 gigawatts.
